Guidance and retrieval tools do not equal approval.
- A passport photo code retrieves a hosted digital photograph; it does not certify acceptance.
- Our free checker measures file dimensions and size in your browser and uses a self-review checklist; it is not an official approval tool.
- The checker does not perform a full biometric, identity, shadow, expression or alteration assessment.
- Current UK guidance requires an unaltered photograph; our content does not treat filters or background replacement as a compliance feature.
