UK passport photo comparison
Max Spielmann offers in-store and booth options across the UK. Compare those routes with ordering a passport-photo product from home.
Order from homeWhat Max Spielmann currently offers
Max Spielmann’s official passport-photo pages state that UK passport photos cost £12.99 in shops, while passport booths start from £10. Their in-store and booth passport services include printed photos and a digital photo code for online UK passport applications.
Max Spielmann also states that its separate online passport-print product is for paper applications and does not include a digital photo code. That distinction matters if you are applying online.

Do not confuse online prints with a photo code
A set of passport-size prints ordered online is not automatically the same as a digital passport photo code. If you are applying online, check exactly what output your chosen provider supplies.
Check the UK rules before you order
Digital and printed passport photographs have different technical requirements. Avoid using printed-photo measurements as digital-file requirements.
